Old Wishes

Mixed-Media installation

August 30 – September 09 (2021)

Exhibition

Old Wishes” is a Mixed-Media Installation that revives the wishes of the Friends of Al-Sibayan magazine, the first magazine for youth in Sudan and the Arab world. The project monitors some of the magazine’s friends’ wishes between 1946 and 1990 – and registers a visit to those children – adults now – after years to ask them about their wishes at that time. And have they accomplished it?
