As part of its cultural program, the Embassy of Spain in Sudan has committed to supporting the work of young Sudanese talents by promoting dialogue between local and Spanish artists.

In 2019, the Embassy published the “2020 Calendar: 12 Artists Celebrate the New Sudan”, which was followed by the “2021 Calendar: 12 Photographers Celebrate Diversity in Sudan”.

On both occasions, an act of presentation was held in the Residence of the Embassy of Spain with the organisation of an exhibition where the 12 works were displayed and available for sale.

This year, the embassy is publishing the third and last edition of its calendar, which will focus on digital illustration and graphic design. The calendar’s title will be “2022 Calendar: 12 Illustrators Celebrate Sudanese Culture”.
