The Archive and its Position in Sudanese Art Practices

2nd, Sep, 2024

The archive has been central to The Muse’s projects this year. The session “The Archive and Its position in Sudanese Art Practices” launched as a theoretical discussion, where artist Almogera Abdelbagi explored the intersection of art and archiving in Sudan, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahman “Bob” presented his perspective on establishing the concept of the archive through artistic experience.

Despite the limited time, the session successfully initiated the intended theoretical discourse on art archiving, paving the way for a new direction for The Muse this year
